Many collectors opt to build the iconic 1955 Topps set in mid-grade, but prices for the major rookie cards have become so volatile that the cost between a PSA 5 and a PSA 6 can double. But if you split the difference, an opportunity afforded by this PSA 5.5 example of Sandy Koufax's coveted rookie card, you can end up with a card that comes very close to EX/MT status at a price closer to a PSA 5. The centering isn't dead perfect but it more impressive than most mid-grade examples while the corners are in line with assessment; not quite EX/MT but superior to EX. An excellent compromise overall!
