The 1955 Topps baseball set is loaded with stars and Hall of Famers and includes the rookie cards of eventual Cooperstown inductees Sandy Koufax, Harmon Killebrew and Roberto Clemente. The set marked the final year of competition between Topps and Bowman, with four card numbers pulled from the set and not issued due to contractual obligations. The featured set is a very respectable mid to upper-grade collection, with #123 Koufax PSA 6, 124 Killebrew PSA 6.5 and 164 Clemente PSA 5 leading the way. Most of the set is PSA or SGC graded and includes the following: PSA 8 - #19 (OC), 16, 18, 23, 41 (OC), 64, 89, 94, 119, 137, 172, 173, 174, 182 and 208 (OC). PSA 7.5 - #161. PSA 6.5 - #34, 66, 78, 85 and 106. PSA 6 - #2 T. Williams, 4 Kaline, 5, 19, 20, 25, 26, 36, 40, 67, 72, 75, 84, 99, 126, 150, 166, 177, 178, 184, 187 Hodges, 201, 204, 207 and 210 Snider. PSA 5.5 - #30 and 155 Mathews. PSA 5 - #47 Aaron, 189 Rizzuto, 190 and 198 Berra. Graded by SGC are the following: #33 SGC 84 NM 7, 45 SGC 88 NM/MT 8, 49 SGC 86 NM+ 7.5, 63 SGC 84 NM 7, 90 SGC 88 NM/MT 8, 117 SGC 88 NM/MT 8, 157 SGC 86 NM+ 7.5 and 194 Mays SGC 40 VG 3. Card #154 is graded BVG 8 NM/MT. The ungraded portion of the set is 5% NM/MT, 20% NM, 40% EX/MT, 30% EX and 5% lower.
