For those of you who experienced the 1955 baseball season, you're all too familiar with the brilliant red, green, and white colors of the 1955 Topps box and wrappers. Presented here is a trip back in time, as this gorgeous 1955 Topps 5 cent display box from the last series hit the shelves just before "Dem Bums from Brooklyn" captured a World Series Championship. While some areas of the top were reinforced with tape many years ago, the display box exhibits far less creasing and wear than you would expect from a 55 year-old cardboard container. And those brilliant colors? Yeah, they still shine! A GEM MINT Roberto Clemente may have sat in this box, waiting for baseball card immortality!
