One of the "big three" rookie cards from the 1954 Topps set, along with Al Kaline and Hank Aaron of course, is this fantastic high-grade copy of "Mr. Cub's" notoriously challenging rookie issue. Typical for the issue, the obverse centering reveals a preference for the top border while the corners and edges meet or exceed NM/MT standards. The front surface is impressive in the accuracy of the image as well as the clean, virtually print free white backdrop. Delightfully accurate and uncommonly sharp: a perfect candidate for any high-grade collection.
