A terrific piece that belongs in any advanced unopened pack collection, this is a scarce 1954-issued pouch of Red Man tobacco that shows a fresh example of pitcher Bob Porterfield's over-sized All-Star Series baseball card on the front. Both the pack and the card appear to be in amazing condition. Other than small piece of plastic missing from the bottom right corner (when looking at the card), the wrap clings to the pack as strongly as it did over 55 years ago. This is a tremendously scarce tobacciana relic featuring a clean example of one of the most admired baseball issues of the era. An appealing acquisition for any unopened pack or type collector.
