Sporting a rugged rough cut along the east edge, this 1953 Topps card of Boston shortstop John Lipon is well-placed at the grade of SGC 88 NM/MT 8. Clean surfaces, minimal chipping and superior endpoints are slightly better than the grade, compensating for the mild centering bias.
