One of the most identifiable cards in the entire 1952 Topps issue is the card of the iconic Jackie Robinson. The featured card has a set of four NM/MT to MINT corners as building blocks to counterbalance the mild centering bias and stray print marks in the lower right corner. The surface is a bold delight that holds captive a nearly three dimensional image of the man who is viewed as much for his leadership in race as for his skills on the diamond. A bountiful, captivating red surrounds the central image with an intensity rarely encountered upon a pasteboard, while dark flesh tones of the subjects face as well as the royal blue of his Dodger cap stand out to grab the onlooker's attention. The reverse displays wonderfully with a perfectly struck deep black inked biography set upon a slate gray stock. A tremendous card offered in PSA stated NM+ condition.
