While Mickey Mantle leads the charge as the most coveted Yankees card in the 1952 Topps set, advanced collectors know how difficult it is to track down a high-grade specimen of Billy Martin's rookie card. While most Martin RC's tend to have a washed-out look, this example has unusually appealing color, which is coupled with grade-appropriate corners and reasonably accurate centering to reach the NM/MT grade. Only 2 have ever graded higher!
