The 1949 Bowman series is loaded with rookie cards of players that are now in the Hall of Fame and one that tends to fly under the radar is the issue of Larry Doby. Well centered with fantastic background color and strong NM/MT endpoints all combine to push this example to the upper end of the PSA grading scale. An underrated slugger, Doby launched 212 home runs in eight seasons from 1949-56.
