Though he benefited from a short porch at Forbes Field, you have to be impressed that in a league featuring Stan Musial, Duke Snider and Johnny Mize, Pittsburgh's Ralph Kiner led the National League in home runs for seven consecutive seasons, including his rookie year of 1946. Here's Kiner on his 1948 Bowman rookie card, one of just a dozen to achieve a mind boggling grade of PSA 9 MINT with a single specimen graded higher. Perfectly framed with a crystal-clear black and white image that is surrounded by endpoints that push the limits of GEM MINT. Certainly high-end and a wonderful addition to any top-ranked set.
