Issued during the summer in which Williams as well as DiMaggio captivated the country and helped America escape the dreary and worrisome time of war. Centered to near perfect measures, with an outstanding and captivating dose of emotion-stirring color. A Creamsicle-orange envelops the great slugger and allows the viewer to appreciate the supreme flesh tones in Williams' face. The strong NM/MT edges move out to proud well developed NM/MT corners that border on the next grading level. The reverse is well printed and free of any obtrusions. A special card offered in equally impressive and satisfying NM/MT condition.
