Presented is an amazing Official Pacific Coast League ball that bears the signatures of 18 members of the 1939 Philadelphia Athletics, including the immortal Connie Mack across the sweet spot. In addition to Mr. McGillicuddy, other notable endorsements include George Caster, "Chief" Hogsett, Wally Moses, and Bob Johnson. All signatures are in blue steel-tip fountain pen, and while one panel has been slightly smudged at some point over the last 71 years, the autograph of Mack is not affected and rates about a 6 in terms of strength. The ball itself shows light age toning but the red stitching remains bold and bright. This amazing orb is accompanied by an LOA from JSA.
