Graded PSA 9 MINT. This is a perfectly preserved example of Carl Hubbell's 1935 Diamond Stars issue that boasts MINT to GEM MINT corners and edges around an accurately registered image of the legendary New York Giant that microscopically favors the left border, well within PSA's standards for MINT. The reverse is pristinely centered and perfectly immaculate, while the obverse displays a noticeably even cleanliness throughout the thoroughly saturated art-deco-styled backdrop, with just a few pixels of hardly perceptible print evident in the area beneath Carl's right shoulder. An exceptionally appealing and perfectly MINT 1935 Diamond Stars example of the game's first-ever unanimous MVP (1936), the National League's first player to ever have his number retired (11), and, still to this day, the owner of the longest winning streak for a pitcher in either league (24, with 16 in 1936 and 8 in 1937).
