Mounted on a thick cardboard backing and measuring approximately 5 1/2" x 7 1/2", this original type I photo originated from the 1934 Tour of Japan that featured many of the greatest stars of American baseball. "The Bambino" Babe Ruth takes his cuts at the plate as Jimmie Foxx and Lou Gehrig wait for their turn at the plate. The photo originates from famed baseball superstar Lefty O'Doul's restaurant in his hometown of San Francsico. A fantastic piece of baseball history.
