Though his Goudey card with the powder-blue backdrop might be more recognizable to the casual collector, this example of Lou Gehrig's 1934 Goudey card with the bright yellow background is a lot tougher to find in presentable condition. Displaying an overwhelming dose of color, the allure of the card is enhanced with a brilliant white border and a very sharp overall appearance to counter the slight centering toward the bottom edge. At this mid-grade you'd be hard-pressed to find a more appealing example.
