Graded 84 (7) NM by SGC. Offered is the 1 AND ONLY example that has been graded NM 7 by SGC with none graded at a higher level and only 1 copy that has graded marginally higher on the PSA population report! Four extraordinarily high end corners that each appear at the gate of the NM/MT grade frame this spectacular pasteboard. The image of the famed slugger is perfectly struck with a deep well contrasted image the echoes a personality that is seldom seen on cardboard. The colors of the white of the Babe's home pinstriped jersey and the deep blue of his cap are distinctively contrasted against the deep red of the obverse. The centering while astute from left to right appears to favor the bottom edge and is a potential reason for the downgrade from an even more lofty grading achievement. The reverse is splendidly printed and offers a beige palate that acts perfectly when contrasted with the deep forest green ink used for the bio. A stunning and truly alluring collectible offered in outstanding NM condition.
