Graded NM 84 (7) by SGC. Presented is an outstanding copy of Lou Gehrig's 1933 World Wide Gum Co. (Canadian Goudey) card that is the ONLY copy that has been graded NM by SGC with only 1 copy on both the PSA and SGC population reports having graded higher than the featured collectible. Four utterly high end NM/MT corners frame a robins egg blue obverse that surrounds the Yankee siege gun. The centering which is most likely the stumbling block to a higher assessment. The focus and color are above reproach and add a dimension rarely encountered on the Canadian release. The reverse is pleasingly well printed and without any hindrances. A tremendous and important card offered in outstanding NM or better condition.
