Graded SGC 84 NM 7, you can't help but be impressed with the overall eye appeal of this yellow background 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth, easily the most popular and condition-sensitive of all the Ruth issues in the Goudey series. A wonderful shade of sun-drenched yellow emblazons the background of this pasteboard, while the image of Ruth stands out and assumes full control of the observer's eye. The reverse is well-printed with a deep bold green set against a pure white, factory fresh stock that shows no evidence of any major flaws. The above-grade corners and edges easily offset the southwest centering bias, which is far less noticeable against a bright background. A solid, spectacular offering!
