Of course, the names Ruth, Gehrig, and Foxx are the keys to the 1933 Goudey series, but next on the list is hurler Dizzy Dean, the leader of the St. Louis Cardinals' legendary "Gashouse Gang." Dean is granted a particularly attractive artist's rendering on this PSA 7 graded specimen, a wonderful convergence of lime-green grass and powder-blue sky providing the backdrop for a finely honed image of "Dizzy" completing his pitching motion. Equally as impressive is the powerfully deep shade of green that makes up the bio on the reverse.
