While it may not be one of his "mainstream" issues, you won't find a better example that captures Babe Ruth in the prime of his storied career than this oversized 1929 R316 Kashin Publishing card, one of just 4 at the PSA 8 grade with one just a half point higher. Considering that there is only one card graded PSA 9 from the entire Kashin series (Chalmers W. Cissell) out of over 1,700 total submissions, this piece is not only one of the finest representations of "The Sultan of Swat" but one of the rarest in high grade as well. Ruth stands poised to strike with the darkened stadium background almost creating a mystical aura around him. The centering is perfect and the bright white border leads out to corners that easily surpass the grade.
