Hall of Famer Charles Leo Hartnett, the oldest of 14 children, has often been referred to as the greatest NL catcher before Johnny Bench. He is depicted here in a PSA 8 NM-MT example from Yuengling's Ice Cream's 1928 release, in a remarkably clear black and white image surrounded by uniform white borders and upper-end NM-MT corners. Centering appears to favor the southeast, but this is basically imperceptible and does not detract from the outstanding visual appeal of this 80-year old pasteboard.
