Bob O'Farrell spent 21 years as a catcher in the big leagues, completing the battery with such greats as Grover Alexander, Dizzy Dean, and Carl Hubbell. In fact, Bob was behind the plate for Hubbell's no-hitter in 1929. He threw out Babe Ruth trying to steal, with the Yankees down 3-2, to end the 1926 World Series, and was later named league MVP for that season. This example of his 1928 Yuengling's Ice Cream card has been graded NM 7 by PSA.
