Of the 23 copies of this card that have been evaluated by PSA, the featured collectible stands as one of 3 at the PSA 4 with only three graded higher. Issued in 1921 by The Oxford Confectionary Company of Oxford, PA, this interesting and scarcely encountered black and white pasteboard of the "Big Train" Walter Johnson is well-imaged with a focused image of Johnson holding a bat. One of the greatest pitchers of all time, Johnson was more than capable with the bat, posting 24 career home runs and a lifetime .235 batting average. Each of the four corners has corner wear commensurate with the opined grade. The reverse is well imaged with no product staining apparent.
