One of the most historically interesting pieces we've been fortunate enough to offer, this framed piece captures the eight players indicted in the infamous 1919 "Black Sox" game-fixing scandal along with an authentic World Series ticket stub from Game 3 of the series. Perhaps the most significant contest historically, rookie pitcher Dickie Kerr, who was not a conspirator in the fix, tossed a masterful three-hit shutout and the Sox beat the Reds 3-0, breaking the bank for many of the gamblers. The ticket sub appears to be in EX/MT to NM condition with no creases or other blemishes visible. Measuring approximately 16 x 18 framed, this is an incredible remembrance of perhaps the darkest period in baseball history!
