Avid baseball card hobbyists, the "Big Train" is leaving the station! Offered is a 1916 M101-4 Sporting News card of Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson, his black and white image imprinted upon the pasteboard with scintillating registration. The corners are grade-appropriate although they project a slightly above-grade appearance to the naked eye, while the admirable side-to-side centering offsets the slight positioning toward the bottom edge. The blank-backed reverse shows some light print dust, but overall, this is a stunning example offered in strong EX PSA 5 condition.
