Like a vintage photograph, the surreal image of 1902 National League home run champion Thomas Leach is presented on this 1914 Fatima Cigarettes issue. While a common wrinkle or two appears on the surface, the accurate centering, superior photo quality, and surprisingly clean reverse should have merited a grade higher than SGC 40 VG 3, in our opinion.
