Graded NM/MT 8(OC) by PSA. The one and only example that has been graded as an 8(OC) by PSA and heads a class that offers 3 quasi-competitive copies that have graded a distant PSA 6. Dubbed "The Duke of Tralee" for his Irish roots, Bresnahan is credited with inventing catchers' shin guards and his .279 batting average along with a modest 26 career home runs during the deadball era landed Bresnahan a 1945 enshrinement in Cooperstown. The featured collectible offers four prideful NM/MT corners along with a superlative rendition of the ball player's likeness that is perfectly registered. The reverse is well-imaged with a very faint evidence of product staining that absolutely does not detract from the card's overall appeal.
