Along with the issues of Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson and Cy Young, the T3 Turkey Red card of Walter Johnson is an iconic pasteboard that any advanced collector of turn of the century Hall of Famers should not be without. The featured item is graded PSA 2, restrained by chipping along the top edge and some light surface flaws. However, the amazing intensity of the central image, flaunting robust hues of blue, green, orange and brown, can rival any specimen graded as much as two to three levels higher. The four endpoints check in slightly above the assessed grade as well.
