"Wahoo" Sam Crawford enjoyed an 18-year career in the big leagues, mostly as a teammate of Ty Cobb with the Pittsburgh Pirates, finishing with a career .309 average and 2,961 hits en route to a Hall of Fame induction in 1957. He is depicted on this T3 Turkey Red cabinet card in spectacular fashion, with moist-looking blacks and greys in his uniform contrasting beautifully with the green grass and fiery sky. PSA has evaluated this one at the VG/EX+ 4.5 level but would not look out of place in an EX 5 holder.
