So enticing that we featured it on the cover of a recent Mile High Card Company auction catalog, the T3 Turkey Red cabinet issue of Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson is a prized premium that no world-class collection should be without. The easily recognized lithographic front retains every bit of its original allure, with "Big Six" standing before a highly detailed lime-green field that meets the partly cloudy sky in a confluence of red and pink hues. The image of Mathewson itself is presented with bold registration down to the shadows cast on his pants. The corners and edges are indicative of the the grade which, at PSA 5, is surpassed by a mere 4 copies positioned one grade higher. The reverse is particularly bold, with deep print that appears as fresh as it was a century ago. If you've yet to acquire a T3 Mathewson for your collection, this would be a good time!
