Kicking off the celebrated T3 Turkey Red set in the #1 poll position is Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown, and an example of which is presented here in appealing PSA 5 condition. Grade-appropriate perimeter wear is concentrated primarily around the corners but is counterbalanced by a delightfully bold image of the famous turn-of-the-century twirler whose stub of an index finger (the result of childhood farming accident) gave his pitches an added dose of top spin, inducing most opposing batters to ground out and helping "Brownie" to a sub 2.00 ERA in 6 of his 14 seasons. Only 4 have graded higher at PSA.
