The offered example of Johnny Evers' immensely popular horizontal T3 Turkey Red issue displays a profoundly bold image of the famed Chicago second baseman guarding his bag and is highlighted by incredibly preserved colors and precise black-ink outlines. The registration of the lithographic layers in the area of Evers' face is especially astute, lending the image a virtually unimprovable quality reserved for only the finest T3s extant. Some scattered surface imperfections are obviously present, but they are predominantly found on the back.
