With two distinct cards of both Jack Johnson and "Gentleman Jim" Jeffries, the 1910 T218 Boxing issue has long been regarded as one of the most attractive and desirable early 20th century boxing sets. Also included are Abe Attell, Joe Gans, Stanley Ketchell, Sam Langford, and many others. Statistical backs include Mecca Cigarettes with two different series title variations, "Champion Athlete and Prize Fighter Series" and "Series of Athletes & Prize Fighters," as well an untitled Hassan back (but there are no Tolstois). The offered complete set consists of 62 boxers (with athletes of other sports not included) depicted in attractive colorful drawings similar to the famous Mecca Double Folder and Hassan Triple Folder baseball issues. The offered set breaks down as follows: 5% EX/MT, 10% EX, 15% VG/EX, 50% VG, and 20% GOOD or below. With the exception of the blue Jack Jackson, which appears to be VG/EX or better, the other keys appear VG but retain their full color and make for a pleasantly presentable collection.
