Another T206 with a scarce advertising back hits the block next, in the form of Germany Schaefer of the Washington Senators. This card has been graded 40 VG 3 by the professional evaluators at SGC and features the scarce Lenox reverse (most decidedly black, not brown or any color in between, just to be perfectly clear), definitely well-known among collectors as one of the more difficult advertising backs. The reverse of the card does show some minor blemishes and age toning, but the all-important Lenox advertisement remains bold and clear in well-saturated black ink. The obverse shows tremendous clarity and detail with strong colors, with a very small wrinkle in the lower left corner. A brilliant addition to any advanced T206 collection.
