Graded VG 40(3) by SGC. Issued by the Briggs Lozenge Maker Company and given the designation of E97 comes this fine pasteboard of Cy Young that actually bears the likeness of Irv Young. The featured collectible was issued late in the 1911 season as evidenced by the fact that Cy Young finished up his marvelous 22 year career with a total of 9 decisions with the Red Sox at the end of the 1911 season. Moderate corner wear is present on all four of the points on this scarce release. There is also some light product staining along the lower right edge.
