Advanced collectors have long admired 1908-09 Rose Company Postcards, not just because of their breathtaking, gold-embossed design or their appealing black and white Carl Horner, et al., photographs, but also (and perhaps primarily) because of their astonishing scarcity. PSA, for example, has only graded 37 total examples, with just two NM 7's at the top of the pop report. One of those two is presented before you, a Tim Jordan card whose only apparent fault is some light to moderate chipping at the corners. The surface is a sprawling field of green, with a gold leaf frame surrounding the black and white photo of Jordan, a perfectly focused image that appears way ahead of its time in technological quality.
