Though he played "only" 15 seasons, first baseman Ed Konetchy is third on the all-time list in putouts. Offered is an exceptional example of Konetchy's 1908-09 Rose Company Postcard. The front surface displays a dazzling and untarnished application of gold foil surrounding a striking photograph of "Big Ed", while the reverse shows no significant evidence of aging other than the customary toning.
