Offered here is yet another immortal figure, Adrian "Addie" Joss, graded MINT 9 by PSA. A perfectly centered oval is the backdrop for a sharply detailed, early 20th century portrait of the Cleveland superstar. The blue reverse which carries the Fan Craze logo is susceptible to chipping however close examination with a high powered microscope reveals just two insignificant discolorations. Only a tiny print dot or two on the left front side prevents a GEM MINT label here. Joss has the 2nd lowest career ERA in baseball history at 1.89 and 90% of his starts were complete games. Over 9 seasons with Cleveland he won 160 games and had he not died of illness at just 31 years old likely would have set many major league pitching records.
