This is the "sliding with right hand on base, Browns" version of Charlie Comiskey's 1887 Old Judge card. Graded SGC 40 VG 3, this ancient pasteboard has above-grade corners and a typically light but visible central image, while reverse has some discoloration but shows no evidence of damage from being glued into an album, a fate that befell most Old Judge specimens. A fine 19th Century representation of "The Old Roman."
