From a purely aesthetic standpoint, this 1887 portrait variety specimen of Hall of Famer John Ward is phenomenal, displaying sharp corners and excellent image quality that rivals any known specimen. However, due to uneven edges and back damage, PSA has deemed the card AUTHENTIC. Even so, it's rare to find 19th Century Hall of Fame examples that can capture the enthusiast's eye like this!
