Though moderate wear at the top corners is clearly visible, the SGC 50 VG/EX 4 assessment on this 1887 Allen & Ginter card of Hall of Famer Timothy Keefe still seems conservative. The central image is crisp and lively, the white backdrop is untainted, and the reverse shows only minimal signs of age. As far as VG/EX cards go, especially one as important as this, you'd be hard pressed to do better.
