Here's a textbook example of "buy the card, not the holder!" Offered is a stellar 1914 Cracker Jack Otto Knabe, the first card in the beautiful and elusive issue. The blood-red backdrop is thoroughly impressed upon the thin paper canvas and there are no signs of the customary product staining. Centering is nearly perfect, the reverse is clean and well-struck and the central image projects with remarkable clarity and detail. A very mild pressure wrinkle in the lower right, nearly imperceptible to the naked eye, accounts for the grade.
