Surpassed by only 4 others on record at PSA, this is an astonishing example of Mel Ott's colorful 1941 Play Ball issue that appears accurately graded at the PSA 8 level. Thoroughly NM/MT to NM/MT+ corners join equally incisive edges around a boldly pigmented surface. In fact, the reverse of the card reveals that there is very little evidence of toning that appears on most cards from this series. Truly exceptional!
