Graded NM/MT 8 by PSA. "When he began to move...the sensation was unique: All the Canadians began backpedaling in a small panic, like beachgoers sighting a coming monster wave. He brought others with him; he wanted them involved. That's what made him so different: It felt like a five-player stampede moving toward you—and at his pace. He pushed his teammates, [because] you're playing with the best player in the league and he's giving you the puck and you just can't mess it up. You had to be better than you'd ever been." Ken Dryden-Montreal Canadians. Featured is absolutely one of the most cherished of all hockey cardboard collectibles, a high grade example of Bobby Orr's 1966 Topps rookie card. The piece offers a scintillating mahogany surface replete with an extraordinary surface full of original glistening gloss. The centering is absolute with no variance or tilt to be observed. The corners are of a middle NM/MT prescription with a very minute amount of white apparent at the extreme tips of three of the four points. The reverse is well printed and accentuates the high caliber of the offering. A tremendous example offered in NM/MT condition.
