Authenticated with an LOA from PSA/DNA, this 4" x 6" Original Type I International News photo features a close-up shot of Hall of Famer hurler Chief Bender with an inscribed fountain-pen signature that reads, "To my Friend Charles, Sincerely yours "Chief" Bender." The photo has the usual wrinkle or two but is in remarkable condition for its age and carries the International News stamp on the reverse.
