Babe Ruth could have retired the day after his 1927 "Murderer's Row" World Series championship and devoted himself solely to signing autographs and he still wouldn't have had enough time to satisfy every fan that wanted one. The presented studio photo contains one of the sharpest images of "The Bambino" we've ever seen, snapped during the twilight of his illustrious career, and is paired with a black fountain pen signature equally as sharp. There is significant cracking of the photo and sections of it appear to be affixed to the glass (not the signature), but when hanging on a wall as intended, those maladies are less pronounced than if you were viewing it from an awkward angle. A wonderful autographed tribute to perhaps the most dominant athlete in history. Full LOA from JSA.
