No “muffs” here! With only one example graded higher out of 85 submissions, the offered T205 Gold Border of Fred C. Snodgrass, infamous for dropping a fly ball in the final game of the 1912 World Series, seeks a new home in a high-grade set registry. The centering is accurate, both surfaces are immaculate, the registration is clean, and, most importantly, the gold foil borders leave little to be desired. Except for miniscule touches to the right border and to the top and bottom right corners, there is virtually no chipping whatsoever. One of the nicest T205 Gold Border borders I have seen, this Snodgrass deserves a place beside the best!
