Boasting a 17-year career, all with the Bronx Bombers, Frankie Crosetti was widely known one of the best fielders in the American League. Crosetti appears on this 1952 high number as a coach for the Yankees, a position he would occupy for 21 additional seasons. As a player and third base coach for the Yankees, Crosetti was part of 17 World Championship teams out of 23 World Series appearances from 1932 to 1964, the most of any individual. Four strong NM/MT corners as well as supreme color are the key attributes of this elusive card.
