Interested in more high-grade 1952 Topps baseball cards? Then have a look at the presented Harry Simpson card, completely ablaze with color and firmly embedded in a PSA 8 NM/MT holder. One of the first black players in the American League, Harry broke in with the Cleveland Indians in 1951 and played eight more years for the Athletics, Yankees, White Sox and Pirates. One of the more difficult commons to obtain in high grade, this example checks in within the top 9% of all '52 Topps Harry Simpson submissions, with just a single higher-graded copy on record. With sharp corners, clean borders and a glistening surface, perhaps a very slight counterclockwise centering alignment prevents an even loftier assessment.
