Despite being traded to the Chicago White Sox in 1941, Joe Haynes cemented his place in the Washington Senators family when he married the niece and adopted daughter of Clark Griffith that same year. After an 8-year stint in Chicago, he would return to Washington for the final three years of his playing career in 1949. The offered card bears the grade of NM/MT 8 as determined by PSA, and stands in the top 9% of its class with just three higher-graded exemplars known to exist.
